Hi. This is Ethan Kap—founder of the Safe Millionaire Academy, bestselling author of the book Safe Money Millionaire and founder of the World Financial Literacy Group.

And will become the next Walmart greeter? It’s a question that I’ve asked myself and others. You may ask yourself. See, Walmart is hated and loved. Their story is quite compelling and sad at the same time. Even worse is walking into a Walmart and seing “John,” a sixty-nine year old grandfather greeting people with a fake smile on his face. John never ever thought he would end up there. Sadly, he did.
In some ways, it was his fault, wasn’t it—on the decisions that he made. But in most ways, it wasn’t. He was lied to by Wall Street, Washington and corrupt politicians who have a system that they understand. They created a system to help secure and pad their retirement savings but leaves most stranded like the rest of us because we don’t have the knowledge.
And that’s what we want to do is GIVE YOU THE KNOWLEDGE. When half of all households by workers, 55 to 64 have less than 80,000 in retirement accounts according to the Federal Reserve Board, then something is clearly not working. Sadly, many are still holding on to the idea that it’s gonna change, right, like the 401K, the mutual funds and the qualified plans are the “proven way” or holding on to the sane idea that Social Security is going to be around in 20, 30 years possibly.
That plan has been shattered and been exposed. In fact, Time Magazine recently had these words right on the front cover, “Is it time to retire the 401k?” if you want to keep holding on to a broken dream, then that is your choice. That’s not the one I decided to make. I want to stand on the winning side of all these mess and keep my money out of their systems.I have taken my money out of that and I’ve privatized my wealth.
